We designed low energy and sustainable buildings using low impact materials that generated as much energy as they used. Our practice applied these skills to new build and refurbishment projects and gained Passive House Institute accreditation.

We worked with both new and traditional buildings in modern and historic contexts. Retrofit is becoming recognised as a key way to reduce carbon in buildings. A challenge is to transform the performance of existing buildings whilst maintaining their essential character. >find out more

The team
Brennan and Wilson Architects was founded by Julie Wilson and John Brennan in 1996 specialising in rural design and low energy, sustainable housing. We closed our practice to new business in 2024 but we maintain this website of our work.
